The Tender Executive is responsible for managing the tendering process for water treatment projects, ensuring timely and accurate preparation, submission, and follow-up of bids. The role requires in-depth knowledge of tendering procedures, contract negotiation, and technical aspects of water treatment projects. Key Responsibilities: Tender Preparation and Submission: Analyze tender documents, specifications, and requirements to assess project feasibility. Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, procurement, and finance) to gather relevant data and prepare tender submissions. Prepare comprehensive technical and commercial bid proposals within specified deadlines. Ensure compliance with client requirements, industry standards, and company policies. Market Research and Vendor Coordination: Identify opportunities in water treatment sectors through tenders and RFP portals. Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and consultants to gather quotations and cost estimates. Evaluate and negotiate with vendors to ensure competitive pricing and quality services. Cost Estimation and Budgeting: Conduct detailed cost analysis, including materials, labor, and overheads. Prepare accurate project budgets and pricing structures. Stakeholder Communication: Maintain effective communication with clients, consultants, and other stakeholders during the tendering process. Address and resolve tender-related queries and clarifications promptly. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain an organized record of all tender documents, submissions, and related correspondences. Provide regular updates and reports on tender progress and outcomes to management. Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure adherence to legal, environmental, and safety regulations in bid preparation. Identify and mitigate risks associated with tender submissions. Qualifications and Skills: Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. (Water treatment or environmental engineering background is a plus.) Experience: Minimum 1-3 years of experience in tendering or bid management, preferably in water treatment or infrastructure projects. Familiarity with water treatment technologies and project implementation processes is desirable. Skills: Strong analytical and numerical skills for cost estimation and budgeting. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in tender management software and MS Office Suite. Attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines. Key Competencies: Knowledge of tendering procedures and procurement practices. Understanding of water treatment technologies and processes. Strong organizational and project management skills.
