Job Description: The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing statutory compliance, GST filings, financial planning, budgeting, cash flow monitoring, Tally entries, bookkeeping and handling forward contracts. The role requires strong analytical ability, attention to detail, and sound knowledge of accounting standards and regulatory requirements. Role & responsibilities GST & Statutory Compliance Prepare, review, and file monthly, quarterly, and annual GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, etc.). Ensure compliance with Income Tax, TDS, PF, ESI, and other statutory requirements. Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and government authorities during assessments, audits, and inspections. Budgeting & Financial Planning Assist in preparation and monitoring of annual budgets and forecasts. Conduct variance analysis between actuals vs. budget and highlight key deviations. Cost control management Cash Flow & Treasury Management Prepare and monitor monthly cash flow statements. Ensure effective utilization of funds and maintain adequate liquidity. Manage working capital and coordinate with banks for fund requirements. Forward Contracts & Forex Management Monitor forex exposures and maintain records of forward contracts. Liaise with banks/financial institutions for booking, renewal, and settlement of forward contracts. Ensure compliance with FEMA and RBI guidelines. General Accounting & Reporting Accounting functions including Tally entries, bookkeeping and month-end closing with bank Ensure accuracy in financial reporting in compliance with accounting standards. Prepare MIS reports, financial statements, and schedules for management. Preferred candidate profile Bachelors / Masters degree in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting (CA/ICWA preferred but not mandatory). 5–8 years of experience in accounting, taxation, and compliance, with at least 2+ years in a senior role. In-depth knowledge of GST laws, statutory compliances, and accounting standards. Hands-on experience in budgeting, financial analysis, and cash flow management. Experience in handling forward contracts and treasury operations. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Proficiency in ERP/Accounting software (SAP/Tally/Zoho, etc.) and MS Excel. High attention to detail and accuracy. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Ethical, transparent, and compliance-focused mindset.

Coordinate monthly payroll inputs and ensure timely processing in collaboration with finance.
