Job Description

  • Developing a React-based Looker Extension Framework applications
  • Taking part in a collaborative development process of infrastructure, content and FE of the applications
  • Researching methods of streamlining the workflow of the applications
WHAT YOULL BRING TO THE TABLE/REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Location : India
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
  • Hours: 1pm - 10pm IST (8 hours/day, with 1 hour break)
  • Proficiency in JavaScript and React, especially concepts like:
    • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
    • Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles - especially hooks.
    • Experience with common front-end development tools such as Webpack, yarn, etc.
    • Good understanding of event handling
    • Experience with communication between iframes
    • Global state management - eg. Redux
    • Server state management libraries-RTK Query, React Query
    • JS module bundling - Webpack
    • localStorage operations
    • Cross-Origin Resource Sharing
    • UI Component development and styling - StyledComponents, MUI etc.
  • Familiarity with Git and GitHub for version control and collaborative development
NICE TO HAVE :
  • Proficient in LookML and SQL
  • Familiarity with GCP, BigQuery specifically
  • Good understanding of following Looker concepts:
    • External embedding
    • Liquid templating
    • Looker Extension Framework
    • Custom visualization building
    • Refinements and extensions
  • Familiarity with following SDKs:
    • Looker embed SDK
    • Looker 4.0 SDK
  • Python, data engineering focus
  • Familiarity with GCPCloud Functions, Cloud Scheduler, Cloud Run, BigTable
  • Familiarity with DBT or other data transformation tools
