Roles and Responsibilities: Oversee quality control of Dry Mortar and Cementitious Tiles by managing raw material selection, batching and mixing at the factory. Ensure compliance with IS and EN standards for testing raw materials, packaging materials and finished goods. Monitor quality assurance processes to maintain product consistency and meet customer expectations. Proactively identify and resolve quality concerns to minimize product rejections. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address customer feedback and improve quality standards. Provide technical support to the plant and installation teams for troubleshooting and issue resolution. Train the plant team on quality processes, industry standards and AAA (Appearance, Accuracy and Assurance) guidelines. Maintain accurate records of tests, calibration reports and batch records. Develop and implement quality assurance strategies for product reliability and continuous improvement. Conduct internal audits to ensure adherence to industry standards and company policies. Work with suppliers to verify raw materials meet specified quality benchmarks. Perform root cause analysis and apply corrective actions using methodologies like Six Sigma and FMEA. Optimize production processes to reduce defects, enhance efficiency and improve overall quality. Ensure workplace safety, regulatory compliance, and environmental sustainability. Support & involve in new product developments Desired Candidate Profile 7-10 years of experience in Quality Assurance in a related field of Dry Mortar / RMC plant / Building Materials. BSc / MSc in Chemistry or equivalent degree. Strong knowledge of Indian Standards IS, EN and ASTM Codes for concrete and Cement products. Proficiency in using various laboratory equipment such as Curing Chambers, CTM, UTM, MOR and Workability Tests etc.
