Job Summary: The Field Service Engineer for Aeros vast GSE product line, including COBRA turbine engine change system and Aerospaces 360 Foam Wash products, interfaces with the OEM, customer, and internal manufacturing/product development teams to manage all aspects of product development, design improvements, customer training and onsite tech support. This individual will work with cross-functional teams to develop and execute technical projects both externally and internally with our internal manufacturing capabilities, supply chain, and customer-facing sales team. The Field Service Technician uses all technical documents and established processes to train, repair, maintain, upgrade, install, and troubleshoot specialized electrical hydro-mechanical products such as the COBRA turbine engine change system and Aerospace’s 360 Foam Wash product line. KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Be the first point of contact and solution for customer technical product questions to provide an optimum customer experience by ensuring 100% operational products and reliability. Lead and conduct the management and implementation of new product installations, commissioning, including the upgrade or modification of existing product installations at customer sites. Understand, articulate, and provide proper usage training to customers at the customers installation site. Review technical documents including tool drawings, electrical and/or hydraulic schematics, parts lists, and technical instructions for design/manufacturing/installation and product operation problems when an issue arises. Disassemble tooling and equipment, identify required modifications, manage logistics associated with modifications, upgrade, repairs, tests, etc. Provide trouble shooting expertise alongside customers to assist team in identifying root cause and corrective actions for design, manufacturing, electronic, software, or hydromechanical issues. Oversee product configuration management process to ensure consistency of product’s performance and alignment to its design and intended use. Participate as a key team member in product strategy development to recommend technical solutions to grow and capture market share. Working with cross functional teams, managing specific projects, products, and services in assigned region. Perform other duties and specific projects as assigned.

Key Responsibilities: - Provide leadership to the service team and ensuring efficient and effective operations. - Evaluate team performance regularly, providing feedback to management. - Analytical troubleshooting, repair, and testing of tools & equipment at the companys service station in Hyderabad, India, - Identify technical problems and provide appropriate recommendations on assigned responsibilities. - Drawing up findings or test reports regarding the condition of tools & equipment - Carry out repairs and maintenance work according to processes, guidelines and safety regulations. - Responsible for timely completion of recertification / repair orders and provide occasional on-site project support. - Adherence to processes, guidelines, safety regulations and manufacturer specifications - Independent execution of service assignments. Qualifications and Experience: 5+ years maintenance or service and 2 years of leadership experience preferred (technical experience required). Computer literacy includes Microsoft Excel and Power point. Self-motivated, strong attention to detail, and accuracy. Ability to read and fully understand general procedure manuals. Skills pertaining to mechanical evaluations and repairs of a wide range of equipment. Physical condition of the candidate should allow them to perform manual labor and tasks for up to 8 hours during the day if required. Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs. Occasional travel to service stations in the US and to customer sites will be required. Ability to interact effectively at various levels within the customer’s organization.

Perform basic to mid-level troubleshooting, evaluations, testing, maintenance and repairs on tooling and equipment. Work with Customer Service Team to ensure the timely processing of customer orders and work with Sourcing, Quality Engineering, and Aftermarket Services to support the timely resolution of problems/issues related to product design and or manufacture. Establish working relationships with local and regional suppliers on fulfilling customer tool services objectives for upgrades and repairs Review tool drawings for design/manufacturing problems when an issue arises. Disassemble tooling and equipment, identify required modifications, manage logistics associated with modifications, upgrade, repairs, tests, etc. Utilize in region supply chain for workscopes. Initiate and manage product inquiries with OEMs to ensure latest configuration products are produced Support customer projects and equipment set up and familiarization training. TECHNICAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Support the Technical and Regional Customer Management teams Tooling & equipment on-site project support Tooling & equipment OEM support Tooling & equipment support related to modifications, upgrades, repairs, calibrations, etc. Troubleshooting tooling and equipment (electrical and hydromechanical)

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Execute Sourcing strategies for categories to meet cost reduction, lead time reduction, and quality requirements. Includes BCC (Best Cost Country) and in Region for Region sourcing and the use of TCO calculations. Use the competitive bid process to solicit capable sources to obtain favorable pricing and delivery. Review proposals, negotiate, and issue purchase agreements with supply base at best total cost with global supply base. Negotiate and implement contracts and LTAs where applicable. Track and report measurements such as cost reduction, terms improvement, lead time reduction and quality improvements with supplier scorecards and internal bowling charts. Respond to internal requests for expedited quote or delivery to meet customer expectations Negotiate improved terms with suppliers to improve cash flow. Create should cost models for categories to challenge single sourced or source-controlled suppliers. Understand strategies for assigned programs and proactively drive initiatives to meet sourcing objectives. Create supplier risk profile for categories and strategies to reduce risk. Support business development by sourcing new program components to support growth initiatives. Support special projects or initiatives as required. Perform other duties and specific projects as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS and EXPERIENCE: Work experience 5+ years of related experience in purchasing / sourcing / logistics Demonstrated experience creating sourcing strategies for categories/commodities. Low cost country / Best cost country strategic sourcing experience. Job specific attributes/skills Knowledge of Supply Chan / Procurement best practices Strong results oriented with capability to execute and follow-through; Ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment with conflicting / changing priorities. Working knowledge in Microsoft Office suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, is required. Proven project, problem solving and time management skills; Attention to detail, organized, and accurate. In-depth understanding of MRP or ERP systems (e.g. SAP, JDE, EPICOR etc.) Excellent communication skills – verbal and written with demonstrated experience in successful negotiations.

JD: 5+ years of experience in Embedded Software Development and Verification. Hands on experience on different stages of SDLC life cycle as per DO-178 B/C guidelines. Excellent understanding of system software concepts, binary executables, debug information, OS concepts. Strong C programming skills, Embedded C, Linux shell scripting. Strong RTOS concepts with experience on working with Multicore/Multi-Threading using VxWorks, Lynx OS. Good knowledge on processors and their architecture (ARM, PowerPC etc.). Hands on experience on Device Driver Implementation. Expertise with Software Configuration Management and Change Control Process (DOORS, JAMA, SVN, JIRA, GIT, Confluence etc.). Experience in using embedded development tools, debuggers, JTAG, Lauterbach, and Analyzers. Understanding of structural coverage analysis and unit test automation tools. Understanding of software certification documents. Proficiency in Quality audits process.
