They pay GST to the government and repay their Mentor Investors with ROI. Citizens Movement: Backed by Citizens for Begging Free India with 3800+ Member Customers and Mentor Investors including 100+ NRIs, Beggars Corporation is a socio-economic re-evolution of the extreme poor. Book on our Model: Our model is featured in the book 'The Last Beggar: From Donation To Dignity', published by Bloomsbury and edited by a former Director of LBSNAA. Collaboration: In April 2024, we collaborated with ONDC for marketing our products. We also signed a MOU with the Uttarakhand government in February of this year to make Dehradun begging-free. Enchanted Shirt: Produces stoles, sarees, jackets, and curtains using patchwork. Poonya: Authentic spiritual items and services. Our USP: All products are made and sold by beggar-turned-entrepreneurs. UPGRADES E-commerce: We are upgrading our e-commerce website and aggregating new impact products in addition to our existing 50+ items. Child Beggar School: We have partnered with an NGO in Varanasi to institutionalize our 'School of Life' under corporate social responsibility (CSR). UPCOMING PROJECTS KARMA Cafe: Not just a café, but a centre for social impact that will bring together public policy professionals, policymakers, corporate CSR teams, non-profits, start-ups, and impact investors on one platform. Beggars Employment Exchange: A training and placement agency for blue-collar jobs with social security. We target to provide training and jobs to 100,000 beggars between 2026 and 2029.
