Job Overview
USTrans World Logistics Ltd. is looking for dynamic and result-oriented professionals to join its Business Development team. The ideal candidate should have experience in freight forwarding, logistics, and international trade, with the ability to generate new business opportunities, acquire clients, and develop long-term business relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the freight forwarding and logistics industry.
- Generate leads and acquire clients for import, export, air freight, sea freight, and related logistics services.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with exporters, importers, manufacturers, traders, and corporate clients.
- Understand client logistics requirements and provide suitable freight forwarding solutions.
- Prepare quotations, negotiate rates, and close business deals.
- Coordinate with the operations team to ensure smooth execution of client shipments.
- Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline and achieve monthly and quarterly business targets.
- Conduct client meetings, sales visits, and follow-ups to convert potential leads into business.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify growth opportunities.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Graduate in any discipline; preferably in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Business, or Marketing.
- Strong knowledge of freight forwarding, shipping, EXIM, and international logistics.
- Understanding of air freight, sea freight, FCL, LCL, customs clearance, and transportation services.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and client management skills.
- Ability to generate leads independently and convert prospects into business.
- Strong networking and relationship-building abilities.
Experience Required
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or international shipping business development.
- Candidates with an established client network and proven business-generation capabilities will be preferred.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Candidates currently working with freight forwarding companies, shipping companies, logistics service providers, or international supply chain organisations.
- Experience handling corporate accounts, importers, exporters, and key clients.
- Target-oriented professionals with a strong focus on revenue generation and client acquisition.
Working Schedule
Monday to Saturday | 9:30 AM – 6:30 PM
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
