Job Summary We are hiring a Senior Analyst with experience in US tax preparation to join our team at Backwater Analytics Private Limited , based in Infopark, Cochin. This role involves coordinating and managing tax filing tasks for individuals and businesses in the US, including multi-state tax compliance. Experience with Drake Tax Software is mandatory. Responsibilities Prepare and review US tax returns: 1040, 1065, 1120, 1120-S . Use Drake Tax Software to complete tax filings accurately and timely. Handle multi-state tax returns for clients with operations across different states. Identify tax discrepancies and recommend appropriate solutions. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws . Stay updated on changes in US tax laws and accounting practices. Required Qualifications Certified Enrolled Agent (EA) mandatory . Bachelor's degree (preferably in Commerce). 12 years of experience in US tax preparation (individual & business). Strong knowledge of Drake Tax Software Familiarity with accounting tools such as QuickBooks or Xero (preferred). Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, formulas, pivot tables). Excellent English communication skills. High level of integrity and confidentiality.

Excellent communication, networking, and negotiation skills. Proactive, self-motivated, and result-oriented. Prior experience in business development, client acquisition, or financial services is an advantage.
