Backend Engineer(NodeJS/Python/Java)

Role Overview: You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance, reliable APIs and backend services. Your role will involve collaborating with product and frontend teams to translate business and user needs into scalable technical solutions. Additionally, you will define database schemas and overall system architecture based on requirements, write clean, well-documented, and convention-aligned code, integrate backend with third-party APIs and external systems, ensure backend systems are reliable, secure, and performant, and contribute to technical decision-making and help refine development processes. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, reliable APIs and backend services - Collaborate with product and frontend teams to translate business and user needs into scalable technical solutions - Define database schemas and overall system architecture based on requirements - Write clean, well-documented, and convention-aligned code - Integrate backend with third-party APIs and external systems - Ensure backend systems are reliable, secure, and performant - Contribute to technical decision-making and help refine development processes Qualifications Required: - 3-5 years hands-on experience building backend systems using Python, Java, or JavaScript (Node.js) - At least one production-deployed project - Strong understanding of REST API design, data modeling, and backend architecture - Proficiency with version control (Git), testing, and maintainable coding - Familiarity with authentication mechanisms (e.g., JWT), API security, and performance optimization - Ability to work independently, take ownership, and manage timelines effectively - Strong communication and collaboration skills - Experience with cloud services (AWS preferred); AWS Certified Developers (Associate level or above) are prioritized - Prior experience in financial or data-heavy systems is a plus,
