Role Overview

We're seeking a strong Backend Developer with Al experience to join our team. This role will focus on designing and implementing scalable backend services, APIs, and data pipelines that support our Al-powered healthcare products. You will collaborate closely with data scientists, frontend engineers, and product leaders to bring advanced Al models into production.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend systems and APIs to support healthcare Al applications.
• Integrate Al/ML models into production environments, ensuring performance, reliability, and security.
• Work with cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure) to deploy and optimize backend services.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines for ingesting, storing, and serving large healthcare datasets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (AI/ML, product, frontend) to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare data privacy/security standards (HIPAA, PHI handling).
• Optimize backend performance, scalability, and fault tolerance.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience as a Backend Developer/Software Engineer.
• Strong expertise in Python, Node.js, or Java (Python preferred for Al workflows).
• Hands-on experience integrating and deploying Al/ML models into production systems.
• Strong understanding of databases (SQL & NoSQL), RESTful APIs. and microservices architecture.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with Al frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) and model lifecycle management.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and optimization skills.
• Knowledge of healthcare standards (HIPAA, FHIR, HL7) is a big plus.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Kafka, Spark, or other data processing frameworks.
• Exposure to GraphQL APIs.
• Knowledge of MLOps and CI/CD for Al pipelines.
• Previous work in healthcare tech or health data systems.
