Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and organized Office Assistant – Purchase (Packing Material) to provide administrative and operational support to the Purchase Department. The role involves vendor development, rate negotiations, dispatch follow-ups, artwork designing and corrections, vendor communication while ensuring smooth coordination with stores and production teams to maintain timely material availability.
Duties and responsibilities:
The role would encompass a variety of responsibilities, including and not necessarily limited to the following points:
● Knowledge of MS Office and CorelDraw
· Strategic sourcing & vendor development: Assist in collecting quotations from vendors for packing materials and preparing comparison statements for approvals.
● Negotiation & cost optimization: Follow up with suppliers for dispatch details, delivery schedules, and pending order updates.
● Purchase order management: Prepare purchase orders in ERP, ensure documentation accuracy, and coordinate for timely approvals.
● Inventory & lead-time control: Maintain inward details, and monitor inventory levels of packing materials in coordination with stores.
● Import logistics & documentation: Coordinate with transporters and stores for packing material receipt and documentation updates.
● Cross-functional collaboration: Liaise with R&D for new product sourcing, with Engineering for CAPEX/spares, and with Finance for invoice processing and vendor reconciliations.
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹14,000.00 per month
