Position Overview We are looking for experienced Azure PaaS Developers passionate about Microsofts Azure AI ecosystem. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and building hands-on labs, proof-of-concept apps, and hackathon environments that demonstrate how to develop solutions using Azure AI and Azure OpenAI services. This is a unique opportunity to blend development expertise with training innovation , helping learners rapidly gain practical skills in building intelligent applications on Azure. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and deploy sample applications, labs, and hackathon scenarios using Azure PaaS services (AKS, Cosmos DB, Azure PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.). Build reusable lab environments hosted on Azure for training purposes, focused on AI-powered applications. Collaborate with curriculum designers and subject matter experts to translate technical learning objectives into engaging, hands-on training modules. Develop code samples and real-world scenarios for building and integrating Azure AI , Azure OpenAI , and Azure AI Studio tools. Optimize solutions for scalability, performance, and reusability within training environments. Contribute to innovative enablement programs , including AI hackathons , code challenges , and self-paced labs . Stay up to date with Microsoft Azure updates and provide technical thought leadership within the team. Required Skills and Experience 4+ years of experience in application development with a focus on Azure PaaS services . Proven experience working with AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service) , Cosmos DB , Azure PostgreSQL , and MongoDB Atlas on Azure . Solid understanding of Azure AI services , Azure OpenAI , and Azure AI Studio . Proficiency in Python , Node.js , or C# for developing AI-powered applications. Experience building and deploying containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes . Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions. Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Bicep or Terraform (for Azure). Strong understanding of REST APIs , webhooks, and API integration patterns . Ability to explain complex technical topics in a clear, concise, and learner-friendly manner. Nice-to-Have Skills Experience with Generative AI , prompt engineering , or LLM fine-tuning . Exposure to Power Platform , Logic Apps , or Azure Functions . Familiarity with learning management systems or edtech platforms . Participation in or facilitation of hackathons or coding bootcamps .
