About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Azure Infrastructure Administrator to manage, monitor, and optimize our Microsoft Azure cloud environment. The ideal candidate will ensure high availability, security, and performance of cloud-based resources while supporting business-critical applications and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and manage Azure cloud infrastructure, including VMs, storage, networking, and security.
• Implement and monitor backup, disaster recovery, and failover solutions in Azure.
• Manage identity and access through Azure Active Directory and role-based access control (RBAC).
• Perform patch management, updates, and performance tuning of Azure resources.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability of services.
• Support migration of on-premises workloads to Azure cloud.
• Automate operational processes using PowerShell, ARM templates, and Azure Automation.
• Ensure compliance with security, governance, and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for infrastructure planning and scaling.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of experience in Azure infrastructure administration.
• Strong knowledge of Azure IaaS, PaaS, Virtual Networks, Load Balancers, VPN, and Firewalls.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Monitor, Security Center, Backup, and Site Recovery.
• Familiarity with PowerShell, ARM/Bicep templates, or Terraform for automation.
• Experience with Windows/Linux Server Administration.
• Understanding of ITIL processes and cloud governance.
• Relevant certification(s) preferred:
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (bonus)
