Role Overview: You are a highly skilled and experienced Technical Leader for the AWS Software Development practice, responsible for architecting scalable software solutions and driving software projects implementation on AWS. Your deep understanding of AWS services and software development best practices will be crucial in this role. Your main responsibility is to establish and enhance the company's Software Development Services Practice, collaborating closely with senior stakeholders to deliver technical solutions that align with business needs. Key Responsibilities: - Act as a visionary leader to steer, motivate, and drive exceptional performance in software development engagements. - Conduct proof-of-concept projects to explore strategic opportunities and recommend scalable solutions. - Make informed architectural decisions prioritizing customer needs. - Guide and mentor engineers, participate in code reviews, and ensure high code quality standards. - Collaborate with sales/pre-sales/solution teams to develop proposals and strategies aligning with company objectives. - Partner with the marketing team to create collateral and assist in talent recruitment. - Design and implement robust, scalable software applications using AWS services. - Lead software infrastructure development and management, ensuring automation and software quality. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or Technology (B.E. / M.E. / B.Tech / M.Tech). - 15+ years of hands-on technical experience in software development. - Experience with large-scale software projects and projects across multiple regions. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Proficiency in AWS services like EC2, ECS, EKS, Lambda, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, and API Gateway. - Strong understanding of AWS architecture and best practices. - Proficiency in managing AWS IAM roles, policies, and permissions. - Proficient in programming languages such as Java, Python, Node.js, or Go. - Strong understanding of microservices architecture, serverless computing, and containerization. - Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS Code Pipeline. - Familiarity with DevOps practices, monitoring, logging, and automation tools. - Expertise in optimizing application performance and scalability. - Experience with monitoring and troubleshooting distributed systems. - Proficiency in performance tuning and optimization of cloud-native applications. - Understanding of software lifecycle management and best practices. - Ability to implement and manage quality assurance frameworks and processes.
