AWS Java Developer

Role Overview: You are a highly experienced Backend Developer with 5+ years of hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, AWS, and Kafka. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-grade microservices, implementing scalable distributed systems, developing cloud-native applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams, optimizing system performance, and participating in code reviews and technical discussions. This is a Contract-to-Hire opportunity for 1 year with the potential for full-time conversion based on performance. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade microservices using Java (8+) and Spring Boot - Implement scalable, distributed systems with Kafka for event streaming - Develop cloud-native applications utilizing AWS services such as: - S3 (object storage) - Lambda (serverless compute) - ECS (container orchestration) - Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, QA, and product teams for successful feature rollouts - Optimize system performance and ensure availability, security, and scalability - Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing, and technical discussions Qualification Required: - Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in backend development - Strong command of Java 8+, Spring Boot, and Microservices - Proficiency in using Apache Kafka for real-time data streaming - Sound experience working with AWS services - S3, Lambda, ECS - Solid understanding of REST APIs, security best practices, and CI/CD pipelines - Good exposure to Docker and containerization strategies,
