AWS Data / API Gateway Pipeline Engineer

You are an experienced AWS Data/API Gateway Pipeline Engineer with a solid background in AWS data warehousing, API development, and data engineering. Your role involves designing, developing, and maintaining ETL pipelines for large-scale data processing using AWS services like Lambda, EventBridge, Step Functions, SNS, SQS, and S3. You will also be responsible for managing and optimizing AWS API Gateway for seamless API integration and performance. Working with Python (Spark/PySpark) and Java to build scalable data solutions, writing optimized SQL queries for relational databases like PostgreSQL, and managing Redis Cache & DynamoDB are key aspects of the role. Additionally, you will implement event-driven architectures using AWS services, manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, and ensure security best practices by configuring IAM roles and policies in AWS. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with AWS services including Lambda, API Gateway, EventBridge, Step Functions, SNS, and SQS. Experience in designing and managing ETL pipelines with large datasets, strong proficiency in Python (PySpark/Spark) and Java, and experience in developing and managing AWS APIs are essential. Familiarity with PostgreSQL, Redis Cache, and DynamoDB, as well as practical knowledge of AWS IAM roles and policies is required. Experience working with GitHub Actions for CI/CD pipelines and practical knowledge of AWS IAM roles and policies are also necessary. Familiarity with Kinesis or Kafka for real-time data streaming is a bonus. This is a Contract (6 months plus extendable) position based in Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune, or Noida, with an immediate joining requirement (within 1 week).
