Automotive Software Engineer / Lead Engineer for BDC

Qualcomm is a pioneer in connected car technologies and is now focusing on Automotive Infotainment, Telematics, ADAS/Autonomous Driving, and other cutting-edge technologies such as 5G, Cellular V2X, Computer Vision, and AI/Deep Learning. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop driver software on real-time operating systems (RTOS) - Work on Autosar software development - Gain detailed understanding of SoC hardware blocks including Clocks, PLLs, GPIO, Interrupt Controllers (GIC), Peripherals (SPI/I2C/PCIE/CAN/Ethernet/USB/UFS), and power management - Experience in Linux kernel architecture, device drivers, and memory management - Contribute to embedded multimedia product development in areas like Android Smartphones, Network-based Graphics/Video/Camera/Display/Computer Vision products - Ensure compliance with ISO26262/functional safety standards - Exposure to Multiprocessor Architecture, ARM processors, caching, interrupts, virtualization technologies, and more **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with 2+ years of Software Engineering experience, OR Master's degree with 1+ year of experience, OR PhD in relevant field - Strong programming skills in languages like C, C++, Java, Python, etc. - Hands-on experience in driver development on RTOS - Familiarity with Autosar software development - Proficiency in Linux kernel architecture, device drivers, and memory management - Experience in embedded multimedia product development - Knowledge of ISO26262/functional safety standards - Exposure to additional technologies like Multiprocessor Architecture, ARM processors, virtualization, etc. Join Qualcomm's dynamic team and play a crucial role in shaping the future of Automotive technologies.
