Automation Testing (Selenium - Java)

As a Software Engineer / Senior Software Engineer / System Analyst based in Chennai, you will be responsible for automation testing using Selenium with core Java. Your key responsibilities will include developing test scripts using Selenium IDE, integrating code with the framework, executing scripts, monitoring jobs, analyzing failures, maintaining and supporting scripts. It is essential that you have experience working in an Agile environment. You will be required to prepare test data for identified test cases and scripts, as well as share daily status updates and progress reports on automation scripts. Additionally, you should be capable of creating manual test cases for identified scenarios to meet functional requirements. Your role will involve reviewing Functional Test Scenarios, Test Cases, and traceability matrix to ensure the quality of test artifacts. You will also need to identify test scenarios for non-functional requirements, retest defect fixes, and update knowledge repositories and regression suites. The essential skills for this role include Agile, DevOps, Selenium, and Java. Knowledge of tools such as JBDS, Angular JS, JIRA, and Confluence will be advantageous.,
