Job Description

Role Overview: You will be joining as an Automation / UI Senior Test Engineer at Cognizant with the opportunity to work in Chennai or Bangalore. You are expected to have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Software testing. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement Testing Automation Frameworks using Java, Selenium, and API Automation tools. You will also be involved in UI and API based testing automation using tools like Postman, Rest Assured, SoapUI, Karate, Swagger, etc. Additionally, you will work on CI/CD pipeline automation and implement the BDD approach using Cucumber. Having experience in Telecom domain will be considered a plus. Good communication skills and Stakeholder management are essential for this role. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement Testing Automation Frameworks - Utilize Java programming and Selenium for automation - Perform UI and API based testing using tools like Postman, Rest Assured, SoapUI, Karate, Swagger, etc. - Automate CI/CD pipelines - Implement the BDD approach using Cucumber - Work on JUnit/TestNG Test Automation framework - Develop automation infrastructure - Experience in Telecom domain is desirable Qualifications Required: - Minimum 5+ years of experience in Software testing - Proficiency in developing and implementing Testing Automation Frameworks - Strong knowledge of Java Programming - Experience with UI and API based testing automation - Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline automation - Knowledge of BDD approach using Cucumber - Experience in JUnit/TestNG Test Automation framework - Good communication skills and Stakeholder management Please Note: The additional details of the company were not explicitly mentioned in the provided job description.,
