Automation Tester (Selenium & Appium)

As an Automation Tester at our company, your role will involve the following responsibilities: - Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium (Web) and Appium (Mobile). - Create and maintain automation frameworks for Web, Android, and iOS applications. - Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA leads to understand requirements and ensure test coverage. - Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing. - Identify, document, and track defects using standard bug-tracking tools (Jira, Bugzilla, etc.). - Participate in test planning, estimation, and reporting activities. - Improve automation processes and adopt industry best practices. - Integrate automation scripts with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.). - Ensure the stability and reliability of the automated test suites. In order to excel in this role, you must possess the following skills: - Strong experience in Selenium WebDriver for web test automation. - Hands-on experience with Appium for mobile automation (Android/iOS). - Strong understanding of TestNG / JUnit / NUnit frameworks. - Proficiency in at least one major programming language (Java preferred; Python/JavaScript acceptable). - Experience in POM (Page Object Model), Hybrid, or BDD (Cucumber) frameworks. - Good understanding of API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured) is an added advantage. - Solid knowledge of Git version control. - Ability to write clean, maintainable, and reusable automation scripts. - Good debugging and troubleshooting skills. Additionally, the following qualifications are required: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. - 3 years of hands-on experience in automation testing.
