Automation Tester - QTP

Role Overview: As a Senior Tester, your main responsibility will be to create test cases and test data according to the project requirements. You will also need to analyze test cases meticulously to ensure proper coverage of all requirements. Additionally, you will be in charge of executing test cases, analyzing test results, logging defects, tracking defects, and re-testing defects. It is essential to have around 3-5 years of relevant Techno Functional work experience and a good understanding of the BFSI domain. Strong analytical skills and experience in writing SQL queries for backend validation are required. Familiarity with the complete QA cycle, various types of testing, and rigorous test case creation, maintenance, and execution is necessary. Hands-on experience with JIRA and Quality Centre is essential, along with good technical knowledge of QTP for the maintenance and execution of test scripts. Knowledge of the Calypso domain would be an advantage. Key Responsibilities: - Create test cases and test data based on project requirements - Ensure thorough analysis of test cases for adequate coverage of requirements - Execute test cases, analyze results, log defects, track defects, and re-test defects - Utilize SQL queries for backend validation - Maintain and execute test scripts using QTP - Perform other testing-related duties as necessary Qualifications Required: - 3-5 years of relevant Techno Functional work experience - Good knowledge of the BFSI domain - Strong analytical skills - Experience with writing SQL queries - Understanding of the complete QA cycle - Hands-on experience with JIRA and Quality Centre - Technical knowledge of QTP for test script maintenance and execution - Familiarity with the Calypso domain is preferred.,
