Automation Tester AEM

As an Automation Tester AEM, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts using Selenium and Java. Your main focus will be on performing UI testing for AEM-based applications to ensure an optimal user experience. Additionally, you will conduct API testing to validate backend integrations and data flows. Collaboration is key in this role as you will work closely with developers, business analysts, and other QA team members to understand requirements and define test strategies. It is essential to ensure comprehensive test coverage, including functional, regression, and integration testing. Tracking, logging, and managing defects using tools like JIRA or similar will be part of your daily tasks. Utilizing version control tools such as GIT for maintaining and managing test automation scripts is crucial. You will be expected to work within Agile teams, actively participating in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives. Providing clear documentation of test cases, results, and automation frameworks is vital for the success of the projects. To excel in this role, you should have proficiency in Selenium and Java for automation scripting. Strong experience in UI automation testing, as well as hands-on experience with API testing tools and frameworks, is required. Familiarity with AEM (Adobe Experience Manager) or Catslite will be advantageous. Working knowledge of version control tools like GIT and defect tracking tools such as JIRA is necessary. Experience with test management tools for tracking test cases and execution will be beneficial. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving capabilities are essential attributes for this position. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment are crucial.
