As an Automation Test Engineer at Capgemini, your responsibilities will include designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts using Java and Selenium WebDriver. You will be tasked with building and enhancing test automation frameworks to ensure scalability and reusability in testing procedures. Collaboration with developers and QA analysts to define test strategies and acceptance criteria will be a crucial aspect of your role. Your duties will also involve performing functional, regression, and cross-browser testing to ensure the quality of software products. Integrating automated tests into continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, such as Jenkins and GitLab CI, will be part of your responsibilities. Documenting test results, logging defects, and tracking their resolution are essential tasks in this role. Additionally, you will participate in code reviews and contribute to improving test coverage. Continuously evaluating and enhancing automation tools and processes will be necessary to ensure efficient testing procedures. Your primary skills should include hands-on experience in Automation Testing with Selenium, Java, and Rest Assured.
