Automation Test Engineer (Java Selenium API)

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Test Engineer with 5 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in API testing, Java Selenium, and performance testing, with additional knowledge of Linux and Kubernetes being a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute automated tests using Rest Assured for API testing.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Java Selenium.
• Conduct performance testing and analysis, preferably using JMeter.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand application features and create corresponding test plans.
• Identify, document, and track bugs to ensure quality standards are met.
• Work on the Linux platform to set up and manage test environments.
• (Good to have) Utilize Kubernetes for container orchestration and management.

Required Skills:

• API Testing:

  Proficient in using Rest Assured jars for API testing.

• Automation Testing:

  Strong experience with Java Selenium.

• Performance Testing:

  Knowledge of performance testing tools, preferably JMeter.

• Linux:

  Experience working on the Linux platform.

• Kubernetes:

  Basic understanding and experience with Kubernetes (good to have).

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5 years of experience in automation testing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies.
