Job Description

As a Test Engineer II at CSG, your role involves developing, maintaining, and executing automated test scripts using C#, .Net, and the Reqnroll framework. You will collaborate with developers, Product Owners, and QA teams to design test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate functionality and performance. Analyzing requirements and providing input on testability during design and planning phases will be a key responsibility. Identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects, as well as working closely with the development team to resolve them, are crucial tasks. You will also work with the DevOps team to implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, create and manage test data, environments, and tools to support automated testing, and continuously improve the automation framework and testing processes to enhance efficiency and coverage. Providing clear and concise test reports to stakeholders to ensure visibility of test progress and results is an integral part of your role. Additionally, staying updated with the latest testing tools, trends, and best practices is essential. Qualifications required for this position include: - 3-5 years of work experience in an SDET role. - Proficiency in C# and .Net Framework, Appium, SpecFlow/ReqnRoll. - Good understanding of concepts like Data structure, OOPs, Collections/Dictionary. - Hands-on experience with the SpecFlow/Reqnroll framework for Behavior-Driven Development (BDD). - Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices. - Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, NUnit, or similar. - Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions. - Knowledge of version control systems, particularly Git. - Understanding of REST API testing using tools like Postman or RestSharp. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced Agile/Scrum environment.
