Automation Engineer - L4

Role Overview: As a member of the team at Wipro Limited, your role will involve designing, programming, simulating, and testing automation products or processes to achieve the required efficiency and effectiveness. You will be instrumental in understanding software requirements, analyzing technology architecture, formulating project plans, contributing to automation roadmap design, and maintaining the automation framework. Additionally, you will design and execute software development and reporting processes, ensuring a smooth flow of communication with customers and internal stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: - Understand software requirements and design the product - Analyze current technology architecture, system interdependencies, and application stacks - Formulate project plans and outline steps required for development - Contribute to automation roadmap design and testing process improvements - Design and execute software development and reporting processes - Develop technical specifications, resolve complex technical design issues, and conduct design activities - Implement, track, and report key metrics for functional and non-functional requirements - Ensure full coverage of requirements through automation and eliminate errors by testing and validating codes - Track problems, resolutions, and bug fixes, create a database of defects, and provide resolutions - Implement automated testing tools, update tools as needed, and develop processes for software validation - Ensure smooth communication with customers and internal stakeholders - Develop robust, scalable, and high-quality test automation tests - Assist in creating acceptance criteria and generate a test automation backlog - Collaborate with development teams to improve continuous deployment practices - Work closely with business Subject Matter Experts to understand requirements and deploy applications using automation tools - Ensure long-term maintainability of the system by documenting projects according to Wipro guidelines - Stay up-to-date on industry standards and incorporate them appropriately Qualifications Required: - Mandatory Skill: Test Automation - Experience: 5-8 Years Additional Details (Company Information): Wipro Limited is a leading technology services and consulting company focused on building innovative solutions for clients" digital transformation needs.
