Auto - Multimedia Camera Driver Developer

As a Senior Engineer at Qualcomm India Private Limited, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining drivers and middleware for embedded systems. Your expertise in C, C++, and embedded C will be utilized to implement and optimize camera driver/applications. Collaborating with cross-functional teams is crucial to ensure seamless integration of software components. Your role will involve debugging and troubleshooting software issues to deliver high-quality results. Additionally, you will participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain drivers and middleware for embedded systems. - Implement and optimize camera driver/application. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless integration. - Debug and troubleshoot software issues. - Participate in code reviews and provide feedback. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with 2+ years of experience in Software Engineering OR Master's degree with 1+ year of experience OR PhD in relevant field. - 2+ years of experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc. - Proficiency in C, C++, and embedded C. - Strong experience with device driver protocols: I2C, MIPI, SPI. - Experience with RTOS and solid understanding of middleware development. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Strong communication skills for effective collaboration. Preferred Skills: - Experience in camera driver development. - Familiarity with other embedded protocols and technologies. - Knowledge of the software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
