Job Title : Murex Support Lead Location : Delhi, India Experience : 10+ years Employment Type : Full-Time Department : Capital Markets / IT – Murex Practice Job Summary : We are seeking a highly experienced Murex Support Lead to oversee and manage Murex-related support across all project types including BAU, implementation, upgrade, and enhancement projects. The ideal candidate will bring a strong technical and functional understanding of Murex (MX.3), lead support teams, liaise with stakeholders, and ensure system stability and performance for a leading financial institution. Key Responsibilities : Lead the Murex support team and ensure timely resolution of incidents, service requests, and problems. Act as the primary contact for issue triage and escalation across all Murex streams (FO, BO, MO, Integration, Reporting, Risk). Coordinate with business users, internal stakeholders, and external vendors to provide effective solutions. Manage end-to-end support for Murex BAU operations, ensuring SLAs and KPIs are met. Handle batch support, EOD monitoring, and performance tuning. Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and provide permanent fixes. Drive continuous improvement initiatives in the Murex landscape. Participate in UAT support, patch validation, and post-deployment reviews. Document operational procedures and Make knowledge base articles. Mentor and guide junior team members. Required Skills Experience : 10+ years of experience in Murex support across FO, MO, BO, and Technical streams. Strong hands-on experience with Murex 3.1 / MX.3 . Sound knowledge of EOD batches, Datamart, Market Data, Workflows, and MxML . Good understanding of financial products : FX, MM, IRD, Bonds, Equities, Structured Products. Experience in supporting interfaces and integrations with upstream/downstream systems. Strong SQL/Oracle DB skills for troubleshooting and data analysis. Familiarity with Unix/Linux scripting for automation and monitoring. Previous experience in handling production environments and critical incidents . Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills. Preferred Qualifications : Exposure to cloud-hosted Murex environments (AWS/Azure). ITIL certification or experience working in ITIL-based environments. Experience with Agile methodologies and ticketing tools like JIRA, ServiceNow.

The ideal candidate will provide advanced technical support for Murex platform environments, ensure smooth operation of Murex Datamart, and manage data extraction, transformation, and loading processes. This role requires deep knowledge of Murex technical components, strong analytical skills, and hands-on experience with SQL and Murex XML configurations. Key Responsibilities: Provide expert-level technical support for Murex environments including installation, configuration, patching, and troubleshooting. Manage and maintain Murex environments across development, testing, and production. Develop, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries for Murex Datamart reporting and data extraction. Design, configure, and troubleshoot Murex MXML files to support business and technical requirements. Support the creation and maintenance of Murex Datamart reports and data feeds. Collaborate with functional teams, business analysts, and infrastructure teams to resolve issues and optimize performance. Monitor Murex environment health, conduct root cause analysis of incidents, and implement corrective actions. Assist in Murex upgrades, migrations, and environment refreshes. Document environment configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides. Automate routine tasks related to Murex environment management and data handling. Support change management and release processes related to Murex technical components. Provide on-call support for critical production issues as needed.
