The role of the HVAC Engineering Manager in Pune is to support Business Development in Cooling as a Service (“CaaS”) in India and Southeast Asia from conceptual design to implementation. Additional responsibility, This is a critical role, working in close conjunction with the Engineering and Business Development teams. Key Responsibility Areas Responsibility of modelling energy efficiency HVAC projects, to find the best configurations of equipment from a technical and financial perspective; Lead all aspects of the engineering lifecycle for CaaS projects, from feasibility studies, design reviews and permitting to construction, commissioning, and operations; Achieving cost leadership through design optimization and vendor development; Ensure compliance with all relevant engineering standards, codes, and environmental regulations; Leading project management for the projects in India and supporting the project team for the projects in SEA; Manage project budgets and timelines, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget; Excellent communication ability to be able to influence and lead the technical value proposition to the customers in person and build our unique positioning to win the opportunities; Handling EPC and O&M contracts formalities & documentation; Ensuring effective contractor management, quality management and construction safety management; Following up AE's project management processes, reporting requirements, etc.; Following AE's ESG framework, safety policies, training, incident management and environmental compliances for the projects in Thailand; and Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders (e.g., management, BD team, shareholders) and external partners (e.g., EPC and O&M contractors, technical consultants).
