You are a skilled Xamarin Developer with 4+ years of experience. Your primary responsibilities will include designing, developing, and maintaining mobile applications using Xamarin for both Android and iOS platforms. You will collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to deliver new features aligned with the product vision and business objectives. Your role will involve writing clean, scalable code following best software engineering practices to ensure optimal performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications. As a Xamarin Developer, you will participate in agile methodologies, such as sprint planning and stand-ups, to contribute effectively to the team. You must possess strong debugging and troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve bugs and performance bottlenecks. Additionally, you will engage in code reviews, enhancing internal development processes, and adhering to application security and data protection best practices. Your skill set should include a deep understanding of Xamarin.Forms and/or Xamarin.Native, proficiency in C# and .NET Framework, experience with XAML for UI development, and familiarity with the MVVM design pattern. You should have expertise in integrating RESTful APIs, working with JSON/XML parsing, and knowledge of SQLite and mobile local storage techniques. Experience in deploying apps to the App Store and Google Play Store, along with strong communication and documentation skills, will be valuable in this role. Furthermore, you should be well-versed in platform-specific features, unit testing, UI automation testing tools, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and version control systems like Git and Bitbucket. Exposure to Bluetooth/BLE programming, Azure Mobile Services, Firebase, and knowledge of Java, Objective-C, or Swift will be advantageous. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, third-party SDKs, and plugins, as well as an understanding of UML diagrams and design documentation, will contribute to your success as a Xamarin Developer. You are expected to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, exhibit strong problem-solving abilities, and demonstrate a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies. Your expertise in Xamarin IDEs such as Visual Studio, version control tools like Git, SVN, and project management tools like JIRA will be essential for this role. Additionally, your experience with debugging and testing tools and familiarity with code review processes will enable you to thrive in this position.
