Job Title - Dubbing Director Location - Goregaon Job Type - Full time Work timing - 10AM - 7PM Work Days - Monday to Saturday (1st,3rd Saturday and all Sundays off) Notice Period - Immediate Joiners preferred. Job Description Direct voice artists and guide dubbing engineers to dub content for broadcast and theatricals as per client specs and requirements. Cast and budget artists for dubbing projects in discussion with Project Manager and HOD. Identify appropriate script writers and communicate with them to ensure timely delivery of quality scripts. Communicate with Project manager, Language QC and provide updates on project status and ensure on-time deliveries. Oversee work of other dubbing directors, teach and train them in best practices and ensure uniform quality is delivered. Dub corrections as per client or QC directives, create and maintain glossary of terms for uniformity across the project. Any task related to the project to ensure smooth running. Requirements 5+ years experience in dubbing direction, casting, scheduling and budgeting for theatrical and broadcast. Theater or acting background preferred. Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi. Knowledge of additional languages preferred. Knowledge of dubbing industry, artists, approved voices, budgets, writers, current trends and ability to deliver with quality in time bound manner. Knowledge of Audio Description preferred. Ability to teach and train co-workers, writers in best practices and explore new trends and evolve. Experience in using MS Office, Excel, Windows 10, etc. Role Overview: Were looking for an experienced Dubbing Director to lead creative dubbing projects across theatrical and OTT content. Youll collaborate with voice artists, writers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure every dubbed product is culturally authentic, emotionally powerful, and technically sound. What You’ll Do: Direct voice artists to deliver high-quality, emotionally nuanced performances Cast and budget artists for dubbing projects in alignment with creative guidelines and project goals Collaborate with scriptwriters and review localization for linguistic and cultural accuracy Work closely with Project Managers, Language QC, and Engineers to ensure on-time and high-quality delivery Train and mentor assistant directors and team members to uphold creative standards Maintain glossaries and dubbing guides to ensure consistency across projects Track artist schedules, line counts, and project documentation Handle revisions, corrections, and dubbing updates as per client feedback Scout fresh voice talent and maintain artist rosters. What You Bring: 5+ years of experience in dubbing direction (broadcast, OTT, or theatrical) Strong understanding of the dubbing industry: voice talent, budgets, timelines, and creative quality Theatre or acting background is a big plus Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi (additional languages are a bonus) Tech-savvy with basic MS Office skills Strong leadership and mentoring abilities Passion for storytelling and sound

Plan, schedule, and track studio bookings, project timelines, team assignments, and resource allocation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including creative, production, tech, and client servicing to maintain workflow clarity. Assist in budgeting, cost estimation, and expense tracking for ongoing and upcoming projects. Support procurement, vendor coordination, and inventory management for studio and operational needs. Maintain dashboards and trackers for operational KPIs, progress reports, and documentation. Identify inefficiencies and recommend process improvements for operational excellence. Ensure operational tasks align with overall business objectives and client requirements. Requirements: 4-5 years of experience in operations, project management, or studio coordination, preferably in media, production, or creative industries. Proven ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines and shifting priorities. Strong understanding of planning, scheduling, and budgeting processes. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills. Proficiency in tools like Google Sheets/Excel, Trello/Asana, or other project management software. A proactive and detail-oriented approach with the ability to work independently and collaboratively. Nice to Have: Experience in an audio production, creative agency, or media house environment.
