Asst. Manager - Hotel

You will be responsible for greeting and registering guests, inspecting public areas, guest rooms, and grounds to ensure cleanliness, and maintaining company standards for housekeeping, decor, and guest services. Your role will also involve answering guest inquiries about hotel services and policies, managing the front office operations including reception, reservations, concierge, switchboard, and night management. Additionally, you will oversee the general operations of both the front office and housekeeping departments, ensuring compliance with local regulations, company policies, and industry standards. Your skills in customer service, initiative, patience, staff management, business management, effective communication, and negotiation will be key in successfully carrying out your responsibilities. Apart from these duties, you will also be in charge of overseeing all daily hotel operations, negotiating contracts with vendors for maintenance supplies, negotiating leases with on-site shops, and physically upgrading the hotel. As a Graduate in Hotel Management with 2 to 5 years of experience in the hotel industry, including luxury and international exposure, you should be capable of managing a 20-room hotel. This position is based in Bengaluru and reports to the Assistant General Manager. The job type is full-time with benefits such as health insurance, paid sick time, paid time off, and provident fund.
