Asst. Manager - Business Development

We are seeking an aggressive, results driven Business Development Assistant Manager to spearhead our Ocean freight sales in Delhi NCR region. The ideal candidate will have a strong existing network of B2B importers, exporters and trading houses. You will be responsible for driving new business acquisition, negotiating freight rates and managing end-to-end client relationships for Sea Freight Shipments routed through major ICDs to/from global destinations.

Core Responsibilities

• Lead Generation & Client Acquisition: Prospect, pitch and close new business with manufacturer's and corporate trading houses in the Delhi NCR region.
• Market Intelligence: Monitor local market trends, competitor pricing strategies and global shipping line fluctuations to adjust sales tactics accordingly.
• Pipeline Management: Maintain an accurate database of leads, sales activities and client records.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience: 3-5 years of pure B2B Sales experience in the Freight Forwarding or Shipping line Industry with a primary focus on Ocean freight.
• Client Network: A proven, active portfolio of existing clients in the Delhi NCR market that can be leveraged quickly.
• Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of global trade lanes, Incoterms, shipment handling procedure and ICD operations.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹67,000.00 per month
