Associate / Specialist, Software Technology

KLA's eBeam Division is seeking a passionate software engineer to join the team and contribute to delivering high-quality solutions for current and future generation products in the portfolio. The role involves working on exciting problems that drive technological advancements, with a direct impact on semiconductor manufacturing and ultimately improving the quality of life for all. As a big picture thinker with a strong foundation in computer science and a knack for innovation and connecting the dots, you will be part of a team that develops customer-critical software for products. Working alongside impactful individuals from various global regions and functional groups, you will have the opportunity to learn, design, lead feature development, and collaborate on end-to-end software development, from requirements to delivery. Key skills required for the role include extensive experience in Microsoft .Net and/or C++ programming, solid object-oriented programming fundamentals, analyzing and addressing complex requirements for usability and performance, developing prototypes and solutions for new concepts, and the ability to uncover root causes, drive innovative analyses, and solve challenging problems across systems or organizations. Strong debugging skills in a complex software setup, optimal architecture principles application, and knowledge of SDLC and software engineering practices are essential. The ideal candidate should hold a Master's Degree or equivalent experience with a demonstrated ability of 4 years, or a Bachelor's degree in Computers or a related Engineering field along with 6 years of confirmed experience. Effective communication, teamwork skills, and a passion for writing high-performing code while advocating clean coding practices are also crucial. Minimum qualifications for the role include a BE/BS/BTech degree with 8-12 years of software development experience.
