Associate Senior Mechanical Designer

We are seeking an experienced Draftsman to join our Global Facilities team in Mumbai office. Your role will involve supporting Mechanical design activities on projects across North America, India, and Asia Pacific Region. Key Responsibilities: - Producing BIM Models for HVAC and Plumbing services using REVIT MEP, including HVAC Ducting layout, Piping layout, General Arrangement drawings, Plumbing drawings, Equipment Schedules, and Installation details drawings. - Coordinating with other disciplines to ensure clash-free design. - Understanding LOD 100 to 450 and as-built work. - Sizing duct, accessories, and hydraulic piping based on codes and best industrial practice. - Collaborating closely with discipline lead engineer to take on increased engineering design responsibilities. - Working as a committed team player with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Utilizing 3D Tools like REVIT, AutoCAD Plant 3D, AutoCAD MEP, and 2D Tools such as AutoCAD and MicroStation. - Proficiency in Coordination Tools like Navisworks and Microsoft Office Tools. Qualifications: - Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or ITI/NCTVT Mechanical Draftsman. - Minimum 10 to 16 years of experience in commercial MEP design using 3D or 2D design tools. - Working knowledge of international codes and standards (ASHRAE, ASME, etc.) used in Commercial and industrial projects.
