Your responsibilities will encompass planning, architecture, and end-to-end executions, where you will oversee development and ensure high quality while maintaining hands-on technical leadership. Transitioning seamlessly between managing people and technical details, you will guide your team towards meeting objectives and keeping technical skills sharp. Key Responsibilities: Operational Management: - Ensure high availability and performance of the web application on a day-to-day basis. - Manage the support team to address incidents and service requests promptly within agreed SLAs. - Proactively identify and resolve potential issues by monitoring application health and performance metrics. Enhancement and Release Management: - Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize new features and enhancements. - Coordinate release cycles to minimize disruption and adhere to deadlines. - Ensure smooth deployment and integration of new features by working closely with development teams. Team Leadership: - Lead a team of engineers, support specialists, and developers, providing guidance and mentorship. - Foster a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement. - Develop training programs to keep team members updated on the latest technologies. Stakeholder Communication: - Act as the primary point of contact for application-related queries and updates. - Maintain clear and transparent communication with stakeholders. - Provide regular updates on application status, releases, and any issues to senior management. What we're looking for: Technology Skills: - 10+ years of experience in developing scalable web applications on AWS stack. - Strong understanding of AWS cloud architecture and integration technologies. - Proficiency in MEAN/LAMP/MERN stack and hands-on experience with web services and REST API. - Collaboration with various technology functions and strong problem-solving skills. - Experience in Agile development environment and familiarity with version control tools like GIT. Managerial Skills: - People management experience to hire and develop skilled workforce. - Capability to manage application support and enhancements by collaborating with stakeholders. - Knowledge of technology operations model and ability to deliver value consistently. - Effective communication skills and ability to remain calm under pressure.
