Associate Engineer- Storage Test

As a Software Test Engineer at Qualcomm, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, creating, and modifying test cases to validate a wide range of software including embedded software, cloud software, system algorithms, and application software. Working towards launching cutting-edge products, you will collaborate with diverse engineering teams to design and implement effective test plans. To excel in this role, a Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred. Additionally, having at least 1 year of practical experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc., as well as experience in Software Test or System Test is highly desirable. This includes developing and automating test plans and tools such as Source Code Control Systems, Continuous Integration Tools, and Bug Tracking Tools. Your responsibilities will include applying your software and systems knowledge to support the design and validation of various software components. You will design and execute basic test plans and scripts to identify code failures, write functional tests to ensure feature functionality, and assist in documenting software defects. Collaboration with project teams will be essential to achieve project objectives and enhance product quality. In this role, you will work under supervision, with your decision-making impacting your immediate work area. Strong verbal and written communication skills are required to convey factual information effectively.
