Associate Engineer- Secure Testing

Qualcomm India Private Limited is looking for a Software Test Engineer to join the Engineering Group. As a Qualcomm Software Test Engineer, you will be involved in designing, developing, creating, and modifying test cases to validate various software components such as embedded software, cloud software, system algorithms, application software, automation, and specialized utility programs. Your role will contribute to launching cutting-edge, world-class products by collaborating with different engineering teams and functions to design and implement test plans. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field. Additionally, having a Master's degree in the relevant field would be preferred. You should also possess at least 1 year of work or academic experience with Programming Languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc., as well as experience with Software Test or System Test, developing and automating test plans and tools like Source Code Control Systems, Continuous Integration Tools, and Bug Tracking Tools. As a Software Test Engineer at Qualcomm, your responsibilities will include applying software and systems knowledge to assist in designing and validating test cases, designing and implementing basic test plans, writing functional tests for features, identifying and documenting software defects, collaborating with project teams to achieve objectives, and developing test case automations and scripts to enhance productivity. You will be working under supervision with decision-making impacting your direct work area or group. Effective verbal and written communication skills are essential for conveying factual information. Your tasks will require planning, problem-solving, and prioritization to complete them efficiently.
