We are looking for a motivated Junior Data Engineer with around 2 years of experience in SQL development, data processing, and ETL operations. The ideal candidate should have strong SQL skills and a good understanding of SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and SQL Server Agent

The candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining SQL queries, supporting ETL processes, monitoring scheduled

• Write, optimize, and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and functions.
• Develop, maintain, and support ETL packages using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
• Monitor and troubleshoot SQL Server Agent
• Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading from multiple data sources.
• Validate data accuracy, consistency, and completeness across systems.
• Identify and resolve data-related issues, including query performance and ETL failures.
• Assist in developing and maintaining data pipelines and scheduled data loads.
• Work with senior data engineers and other teams to understand data requirements.
• Maintain technical documentation for SQL scripts, SSIS packages, and scheduled
• Follow data quality, security, and development best practices.
• Shift Availability: Willingness and flexibility to work in rotational shifts (including morning, evening, and night/weekend rotations as part of the scheduled support roster).

• Around 2 years of experience in SQL development or data engineering.
• Strong knowledge of SQL Server SSIS and T-SQL.
• Hands-on experience writing complex SQL queries using joins, subqueries, CTEs, and aggregate functions.
• Good understanding of stored procedures, views, functions, and temporary tables.
• Good understanding of SSIS packages, data flow tasks, control flow, and basic ETL concepts.
• Good understanding of SQL Server Agent
• Knowledge of data validation, error handling, and debugging techniques.
• Basic understanding of relational databases, data modeling, and database performance optimization.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Basic understanding of Python.

• Exposure to performance tuning and SQL execution plans.
• Experience working with incremental data loads and handling duplicate records.
• Basic knowledge of dimensional modeling and data warehousing concepts.
• Familiarity with Git or other version control tools.
• Exposure to Power BI, Azure Data Factory, or cloud-based data platforms.

• Strong SQL fundamentals and a willingness to learn.
• Ability to troubleshoot data issues independently.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
