Associate Director | Project Management (PMO) | Mumbai | Technology Strategy & Transformation

Role Overview

The candidate will lead program governance, planning, monitoring, and reporting to ensure successful delivery of strategic initiatives. The role will oversee timelines, budgets, resources, risks, and dependencies while ensuring alignment with business objectives and delivery commitments.

The role will engage with senior leadership, program managers, and cross-functional teams to drive accountability, facilitate decision-making, resolve escalations, and maintain delivery transparency. It will also strengthen PMO processes, standardize reporting, and drive continuous improvement in program execution.

Standard Responsibilities

• Governance and Planning: Establish PMO frameworks, governance forums, integrated plans, milestones, and delivery standards.

• Program Monitoring: Track progress, budgets, resources, and deliverables; identify deviations and drive corrective actions.

• Reporting and Stakeholder Management: Prepare executive dashboards and status reports, facilitate reviews, and manage escalations.

• Risk and Dependency Management: Maintain RAID logs and coordinate mitigation of risks, issues, and cross-functional dependencies.

• Delivery Assurance: Ensure adherence to scope, timelines, quality standards, and governance requirements.

• Process Improvement: Standardize PMO tools, templates, methodologies, and reporting practices.

• Leadership and Alignment: Lead PMO teams and ensure alignment between program execution and strategic business outcomes.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, IT, or a related field; postgraduate qualification preferred.

• Significant experience in PMO, project, or program management, preferably across complex transformation initiatives.
