Assistant Security Officer – Nuclear Power Plant

Position:

We are hiring an experienced Assistant Security Officer to manage and strengthen security operations at a Nuclear Power Plant. The role focuses on safeguarding personnel, materials, equipment, and property, ensuring continuous vigilance and compliance with security protocols.

Preference: Ex-Servicemen with strong leadership, discipline, and experience in industrial or plant security.

Key Responsibilities

Plant & Premises Security

• Supervise and control entry/exit of employees, contractors, vehicles, and visitors.
• Conduct routine patrols across plant areas, staff quarters, and storage zones.

Surveillance & Compliance

• Monitor and report any suspicious activities, thefts, or violations.
• Maintain proper documentation — visitor logs, material movement registers, and daily reports.

Team Management

• Lead and guide security guards, gate operators, and support staff.
• Prepare duty rosters to ensure round-the-clock coverage.
• Conduct training sessions and briefings on safety and emergency protocols.

Administration & Reporting

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly security reports.
• Support HR/Admin in discipline enforcement and attendance tracking.
• Maintain audit-ready records for inspections and insurance.

Eligibility & Skills

• Qualification: Ex-Servicemen preferred.
• Languages: Tamil (mandatory), English (preferred), Hindi (advantage).
• Core Competencies: Discipline, vigilance, leadership, decision-making, and communication.
• Environment: Ability to work effectively in a remote/rural industrial setup.

• Physically fit, alert, and proactive in risk prevention.
• Dedicated to ensuring 24×7 safety of people, assets, and operations.
