Job Description

Assistant Purchase Manager (Nutraceutical/ Pharma)

Job Roles:

Vendor development and supplier evaluation.
Source and evaluate suppliers for cost-effectiveness and reliability.
Handle multiple vendors within tight timelines.
Must coordinate with production, designers and e-commerce departments.
Should ensure timely material procurement as per production schedules.
Familiar with FSSAI, GMP and quality compliance standards.
Should ensure timely procurement and printing of packaging material.
Good understanding of raw materials, excipients, and packaging materials used in nutraceutical manufacturing.

Skills Required:

Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Good knowledge of purchase procedures, purchase order (PO) creation, and documentation.
Experience in working with ERP/Tally systems.
Proficiency in MS Excel and report preparation.
Strong follow-up and coordination skills.

Required Experience:

5 to 7 yrs. in Nutraceutical, Herbal or Pharma industry (in purchase or procurement department)
