Assistant Professor, Nursing

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Deliver lectures, conduct seminars, and facilitate classroom discussions in specialized nursing fields.
• Supervise student practical and clinical work, providing guidance on best practices.
• Develop and maintain course materials, including syllabi, assignments, and handouts.
• Evaluate and grade student coursework, papers, and practical skills.
• Participate in the formulation and evaluation of nursing curricula and academic programs.
• Contribute to establishing educational goals, policies, and philosophy for the nursing program.
• Collaborate with colleagues to implement and revise learning experiences and instructional methods.
• Mentor students in student activities and clubs.
• Assist students in identifying their needs and developing plans for their learning experiences.
• Stay abreast of current developments in nursing by reading literature and attending conferences.
• Contribute to the recruitment and retention of nursing students for the institution.

Qualification

• M.Sc Nursing
• Ph.D in Nursing
• Registered Nurse
• Experience - Minimum 3 -5 Years of experience in Teaching.
