Job Description Designing Clutch Systems: You would be responsible for designing clutches that are reliable, durable, and efficient, making sure they can handle the high torque and stress involved in Tractors and HCVs. CAD Modeling and Prototyping: Use CAD software (like SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or CATIA) to create detailed 3D models of clutch components and assemblies. Material Selection: Choosing materials that can withstand the harsh conditions and heavy loads, like high-strength steels or advanced composites for friction plates and other clutch components. Testing and Validation: Performing tests to validate the clutch s performance, such as load testing, wear testing, and reliability testing. Collaboration with Manufacturing Teams: Work closely with the manufacturing and assembly teams to ensure that your designs are cost-effective to produce and can be manufactured efficiently. Problem-Solving: Identifying issues with current clutch designs or manufacturing processes and coming up with solutions to improve them. Compliance with Standards: Ensuring that the clutch designs meet relevant industry standards and regulations for safety, performance, and environmental concerns. Other Details B Tech. (Mechanical) Mechanical Engineering: Understanding the principles of mechanical design, material science, and thermodynamics. Problem-Solving: The ability to identify issues and quickly find innovative solutions. CAD Software: Proficiency in 3D modeling and simulation software. Knowledge of Manufacturing Processes: Familiarity with casting, forging, machining, and other processes relevant to clutch production. Strong communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams.
