Assistant Manager - Service Delivery & Management

Role Purpose

The Project Manager is responsible for leading projects from initiation through closure, ensuring successful delivery within agreed scope, timelines, quality standards, and budget. The role requires coordination with multiple stakeholders, effective risk management, progress monitoring, and governance reporting to achieve business objectives and customer satisfaction.

This is a delivery-focused role with direct accountability for project execution, resource coordination, stakeholder management, and successful realization of project outcomes.

Educational Qualification Experience

Minimum Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or an equivalent discipline.

Experience

• 5 to 7 years of experience in Project or Program Management, preferably in Cybersecurity, Cloud, Infrastructure, or System Integration projects.
• Experience managing cross-functional teams, customers, vendors, and multiple stakeholders.

Required Knowledge Skills

Project Management

• Strong understanding of Project Management methodologies and frameworks (Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid).
• Expertise in project planning, scheduling, execution, monitoring, and closure.
• Knowledge of project governance, change management, and quality management processes.

Business Financial Management

• Project budgeting and cost management.
• Resource planning and utilization tracking.
• Proposal review and effort estimation.

Stakeholder Management

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Management reporting and executive-level status updates.
• Customer engagement and vendor coordination.

Risk Delivery Management

• Risk identification, assessment, mitigation, and escalation.
• Dependency management and issue resolution.
• Time management and prioritization skills.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning Initiation

• Manage project initiation activities, including scope definition, requirement analysis, and stakeholder alignment.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, work breakdown structures (WBS), and resource plans.
• Define project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and acceptance criteria.

Project Execution Monitoring

• Drive project execution in accordance with approved scope, timelines, quality standards, and budget.
• Track project progress using standard project management templates and reporting mechanisms.
• Coordinate with technical teams, customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely completion of project activities.
• Monitor project performance against defined KPIs and delivery commitments.

Governance Reporting

• Prepare periodic project status reports, dashboards, and executive summaries.
• Conduct project review meetings and ensure timely escalation of critical risks and issues.
• Maintain project documentation and governance artifacts.

Risk Issue Management

• Identify project risks, assumptions, constraints, and dependencies.
• Develop mitigation and contingency plans to minimize delivery and business impacts.
• Ensure proactive issue resolution through stakeholder engagement and escalation management.

Budget Resource Management

• Monitor project budgets, resource utilization, and financial performance.
• Track project expenditures and ensure adherence to approved budgets.
• Support forecasting, effort estimation, and financial reporting activities.

Quality Continuous Improvement

• Ensure compliance with organizational processes, standards, and best practices.
• Drive continuous improvement in project management methodologies, tools, and governance processes.
• Capture lessons learned and implement improvements for future projects.
