Description
As a Machining Engineer in our company, your role involves carrying out the machining of EV aluminium components such as Battery pack, Motor housing, Front grider fork, BMS covers, etc. You should be familiar with handling Light weight magnesium casting parts machining and Aluminium forging machining. Additionally, you will be responsible for CNC programming and optimizing machining applications for two-wheeler parts, requiring hands-on experience in Fanuc controllers. Having a basic understanding of preventive and predictive maintenance of CNC Machines is essential to ensure efficient operations. Your key responsibilities include ensuring the readiness and availability of manufacturing facilities, providing support to ensure machining facility readiness considering all field failures, and developing an understanding of machining operations, Takt time, Cycle time, and throughput time of different manufacturing processes. You will be expected to identify critical and bottleneck work stations and allocate work appropriately to ensure smooth operations. Supporting initiatives to improve productivity, cost-saving, VAVE in operations, and implementing automation processes across the shops are also part of your responsibilities. Monitoring and ensuring on-time closure of production-related issues, possessing knowledge of Cutting toolings and Hydraulic Fixtures, and utilizing problem-solving techniques are crucial aspects of this role. In terms of behavioral competencies, you are expected to demonstrate Empowering Leadership, Customer advocacy, Boundaryless Collaboration, and Thinking Unconventionally.
