Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager – Operations to manage end-to-end warehouse operations, including inventory management, goods receipt, order processing, dispatch, compliance and team performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations, including goods receipt, inventory storage, order processing and dispatch.
• Ensure timely inward and outward movements, accurate inventory records and completion of system entries.
• Coordinate with customers, principals and internal stakeholders to resolve operational issues and complaints.
• Maintain operational documentation, records, MIS reports and audit requirements.
• Monitor temperature, quality, EHS and workplace safety compliance.
• Plan manpower and resources to achieve productivity, cost and service targets.
• Review employee KPIs, monitor performance and provide feedback.
• Ensure adherence to SOPs, work instructions, statutory audits and compliance requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement through lean practices and 5S implementation.
• Monitor and achieve agreed KPIs and SLAs.

Required Skills and Experience

• 8–12 years of relevant experience in warehouse or operations management.
• Strong knowledge of inventory, goods receipt, dispatch and order processing.
• Experience in MIS reporting, documentation, audits and compliance.
• Knowledge of EHS, quality and temperature-control requirements in warehouse operations.
• Strong team management, manpower planning and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Familiarity with SOPs, lean practices and 5S.
• Good communication, problem-solving and organisational skills.
