Assistant Manager - Global Business Insight

The role of Assistant Manager - Global Business Insight at HSBC involves supporting the Head of Business Insights and program manager in analytical assessments, driving continuous improvements through process simplification/automation, and communicating achievements to senior stakeholders. You will be responsible for developing solutions aligned with strategic deliverables, building strong relationships with key business partners, and ensuring SLAs and project timelines are met without breaching quality metrics. **Key Responsibilities:** - Support Head of Business Insights and program manager on analytical assessments and project goals - Drive Continuous Improvements through simplification/automation of processes - Communicate effective deliveries and achievements to senior audience - Develop solutions in line with Strategic deliverables and focus the MI on future state - Build strong relationships with key business partners at all levels, actively manage stakeholders, and ensure a collaborative approach - Engage with Business Insights management team with structured plans and agendas - Take ownership of work slate and collaborate with management to deliver - Work with the Global Business Insights team globally towards best practices and TOM - Ensure SLAs and Project timelines are met within quality metrics **Qualifications:** - Expertise in MI/Analytics, Data Management, Business Analysis, and Management Packs - Advanced skills in Excel/VBA, MS Access & SQL - Excellent knowledge & Expertise on Investment Banking Operations - Working knowledge of MSS processes, trade lifecycle, Control/Risk/COO function - 6-9 years of experience in Control/Risk reporting, Ops & regulatory reporting - Strong understanding of various functions and business control processes - Strong organizational skills and ability to work under tight deadlines with attention to detail - Strong written and verbal communication skills You will have the opportunity to make a real impact at HSBC, one of the largest banking and financial services organizations globally.
