Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager - Finance & Accounts

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Ensure adherence to all direct and indirect tax regulations in India, including filing Income Tax, TDS, GST returns and other related forms and payments accurately and on time
• Handle litigations in partnership with the internal and external stakeholders including consultants, respond to queries from tax authorities, and assist in resolving any tax-related disputes or issues
• Coordinate and manage tax audits, statutory audit and internal audit etc
• Support the preparation of financial statements, financial reports, tax provisions, and other corporate compliance and reporting requirements
• Monitor day-to-day transactions, manage month-end and year-end activities and ensure smooth closure of books of accounts
• Preparations of stock reports & handle other requirements of bankers.
• Develop & monitor internal finance policies and implement these policies into existing accounting practices
• Verify inter-company transactions and reconciliations
• Review the reports prepared by other team members, develop & train them to deliver optimum performance
• Well versed with advanced ERP software like Oracle & SAP
• Collaborate with finance and other departments to ensure finance policies and strategies are implemented effectively
• Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing sector
• Proficient n MS excel & word.
