Assistant Manager - Civil - BOP

Responsibilities

• Site Execution:
• Oversee construction activities such as site leveling, grading, roads, drains, and foundations.
• Ensure proper dewatering systems to maintain dry work areas until completion.
• Technical Expertise:
• Interpret and review civil drawings, engineering plans, and specifications.
• Conduct rate analysis, bill certification, and survey works.
• BOP Structures:
• Manage civil works for coal handling plants, wagon tipplers, tunnels, stockyards, stacker/reclaimer, crusher house, etc.
• Planning & Scheduling:
• Prepare and monitor project schedules, resource plans, and progress reports.
• Coordinate with multiple departments for smooth execution.
• Quality & Safety Compliance:
• Ensure adherence to IS Codes, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 standards.
• Monitor earth compaction, moisture content, dry density tests, and documentation.
• Resource Management:
• Plan equipment mobilization, manpower allocation, and utilization.
• Reporting:
• Compile and present project status reports to management.
